Ambient-Visionaire Silver Our new silver 2.1 and 1.3 gain Ambient-Visionaire™ material offers the latest, most advanced ambient light filtration technology available. We deposit billions of nano-mirrors onto the surface, dithered at the desired viewing angle, and layered so that side light (from any direction) will be absorbed by carbon particles and the substrate. By shrinking the reflective elements down to less than 1/10 the smallest size visible by the human eye, the screen cannot create a discrete sparkle. They are so small and dense, that a 16K resolution pixel would have over 300 mirrors to itself. A 4K pixel would have nearly 5000. With this more efficient method of selectively reflecting the projected image versus ambient light, the screen offers the reference quality color uniformity that Seymour-Screen Excellence is known for without color shift, sparkles or ringing. Topping the screen material is a durable surface that can be wiped down and cleaned with common household cleaners including rubbing alcohol.
The silver 1.3 was reviewed and declared Best in Class from the most experienced reference calibrator in the industry, AccuCal. His test report is here.
Ambient-Visionaire Black Our new black 1.2 gain material offers the most effective ambient light filtration available in an optical screen. With a deep background that absorbs 90% of ambient light from any direction, and an agressive combination of carbon particles and stacked, dithered nano-mirrors, you can get a 12x improvement in contrast ratios in environments that are otherwise unsuited to front projection use, even outdoors.

If You Install It, Everyone Will Come
Seen from front-on or within the maximum viewing radius in my room of around 75 degrees, this is the best execution of light rejection and lumens utilization I have yet experienced, that being with lights on. In theater mode with lights off, the Ambient-Visionaire Black 1.2 may be the screen that makes you forget white screens are still being made. I even hauled out an old Runco CL-820 DLP projector just to make sure I can say this screen makes any projector pointed at it better than you’ve ever seen it look. “Game changer” severely understates it. Highly recommended—can’t exaggerate it enough.

Ambient Visionare 1.3 (Best in class)
- This material was very color neutral. It appeared to have a very smooth
surface. It is a very stiff material. It had many sparkling elements to increase the screen gain.
The shimmering caused by these elements was visible in brighter elements of images. The gain
of this material would aid in increasing the image brightness for projectors with lower light
output than the screen size desired. Off axis gain was also good. This is a less aggressive
alternative to a Black Diamond. This product is constructed on a harder sheet of plastic than the
stretched PVC found with the other products in this group
