Un bête exemple :
Love the Show - Enjoyed the end - But Still Have Tons of Questions.....
1. Why was Jacob able to leave the island whenever he wanted (to touch all of the candidates over the years) and his brother (now black smoke guy) not allowed to leave the island? That is all he ever wanted to do -- leave the island and explore what was out there.
2. Jacob was taught that there was nothing besides the island -- yet somehow he learns how to leave the island and how to get back. How did he learn to do these things and why was it okay for him to leave and come back whenever he wanted? Why did becoming the protector of the island make him the leader of the island? It certainly didn't seem like his 'mother' was the leader when she was protecting the island.
3. How was Jacob given the power/ability to make it so that people didn't age or die (like Richard/or like himself for that matter)?
4. Why was Kate able to kill black smoke man after the light was turned off?
5. If the light had not been turned back on --- and the island sunk into the sea -- what would have happened?
6. A big theme of the story seemed to be good against evil -- but a bigger theme seemed to be that the end justifies the means. (After all, the woman who found the pregnant lady killed her so she could raise the two boys so one of them could take her place and protect the island.) Jacob 'brought' tons of people to the island -- most of whom died tragic deaths -- so he could find the right person to take over for him. I thought he was a good guy - but he lied and manipulated people just like his 'mother' before him and the black smoke man (aka his brother).
7. How did the Dharma people get to the island initially? (That story line would have been really interesting.) Were they brought to the island by Jacob? Why were they able to come and go whenever they wanted on their sub?
8. If everything was real - and all those things really did happen to them on the island --- what was the flash sideways? Fans of the show are saying that it was purgatory - and they were waiting to find one another so they could all 'move on' together....
9. What was the island? What was the light? Why did they need protecting? I have a bunch more questions - but you see what I mean. They could have spent another season answering just a few of these questions. I do wish that the first 2 hours last night (the interviews and look back at the characters) had been a solid 2 hours of more of the show answering more of the questions. Man, I'm really going to miss this show.
J'ajouterais : mais où est donc passé Michael ???
En gros, Lost est un remake en 6 saisons de "The Sixth Sense" de M. Night Shyamalan
